I saw Nine Inch Nails a few years ago and loved the energy of the show. Trent Reznor seemed a little off that night at first, but warmed up after a few songs. He started the set by playing a couple of songs behind a huge white curtain. You could just see his shadow behind it.

I don’t remember the name of the band that opened for them, but the singer was so fucked up he almost fell off the stage. After a couple songs he picked up a guitar and played while he sang. For some reason that seemed to help with his balance.

All in all it was a great show and it was probably the only time I’ve ever seen a guitarist destroy his guitar on stage at the end of the show. He turned around after the last song and rammed the headstock of his guitar right into the speaker on one of the stacks behind him. The crowd naturally went crazy!
